Acceptance: as spiritual principle

ACCEPTANCE sounds something like this: "God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference." (the Serenity Prayer)

Fear, taught by society, causes us to accept painful, awful things in life that we can actually change. In truth, only we have the power to move forward past those things.

And there are things we cannot change. So, we work to accept that we can't manage people, places, or things. We accept truth.

And some say there is power in powerlessness. They say it frees us from conflict, allows us to enjoy the rest of our life. They are right.

Take time to enter the Silence in stillness - there we are free of fear, and believing in lack.
